Plant-based sub list

If you are wanting to go towards a more whole food plant-based course of eating, yay you!  Here is a little help to get you started.  I’ll be adding to this list as an ongoing project…

Instead of cow’s milk, use

  • almond milk
  • rice milk
  • coconut milk
  • soy milk (limit use)
  • hemp milk
  • combo almond/coconut milk

Instead of butter use:

Instead of ground beef for burgers or meatballs use:

Instead of parmesean cheese use:

Instead of slicing cheese use:

Instead of coffee creamer use

  • Mimicreme
  • Sweetened coconut milk
