Countdown to Perks of Cancer book launch (with prizes)

As some of you may know, I wrote a book with another blogger by the name of Florence Strang at 100 Perks of Cancer.  Even though Flo lives on “The Rock” (Newfoundland Canada…not Alcatraz) and I live in the southeastern USA, we managed to put this 448 page book together using skype and e-mail.   We just met for the first time several weeks ago.

We began writing in April 2012, and the book is finally available on Amazon! Yay!

To celebrate, we wanted to give you even more of a sneak peek than is already out there.  We will be posting one chapter of the book for the next 10 days leading up to the launch on August 23rd in Nashville at the National Women’s Survivor’s Convention.

If you are planning to attend, please make sure you stop by our table in the vendor’s Expo or at the book signing! We’d love to meet you!

But that’s not all!

Everyone who “likes” our 100 Perks of Cancer Facebook page is eligible to win a prize every day for the next 10 days!  Don’t you just love prizes??!!

So here’s Health Tip #59 for you. Go on over to Flo’s blog to see if you won the prize for today!

  1. Congrats to you! I am so happy that all of your hard work has come to fruition! I love the countdown and sneak peeks of the chapters! Thank you!! ♥

  2. Oh I am SO excited for you and Flo. It feels like only yesterday that you announced that you and Flo had a book deal, and here you are an author!! I see it isn’t available in the UK until the end of September. Any chance of a sneaky review copy before then? I know I am cheeky. Alternatively, can you email me your publisher’s pr and I will contact and say I know you? Would love to feature this on food to glow 😀 Many congratulations on what looks like it will be a brilliantly useful and reassuring book

  3. I noticed it has been available on Amazon … in looking at the table of contents and reading some of the excerpts that are available, it seems more geared to the woman dealing with cancer … can men in a battle with cancer also get something out it? Just curious.

BTW … from the TOC it really looks like a great book with some great content!

  4. Congratulations on your book. How exciting!

  5. I like the idea of co-authoring a health book with somebody from a different continent. Great.
